There are a number of beaver ponds and swamps in Gatineau Park and interesting images abound if you are prepared for a hike and often some bushwhacking. The place I visited during this session I had discovered while hiking with a friend a few years ago. With the goal then being the hike, not the photography, I made a mental note of the location.
